19 years ago, the close-knit Nanba brothers witnessed a UFO in the clear night sky, an event that directly impacted their future lives. In 2025, the younger brother Hibito (played by Masaki Okada) will embark on a legendary journey as the first Japanese astronaut to land on the moon, alongside his partners at NASA. Meanwhile, his older brother Mukta (played by Shun Oguri) is struggling as a concept car designer but gets fired for a headbutt attack on his boss. Just when life seems to be at a low point, Mukta receives the first round of test qualification notice from JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency). It turns out that Hibito has never forgotten the promise he made with his brother to reach the moon together. Encouraged by his younger brother, Mukta reignites his passion for space and begins training with a group of like-minded individuals. On the other hand, Hibito and his team land on the moon, taking a crucial step, but an accident occurs… This film is adapted from the manga of the same name by Chūya Koyama, featuring guest appearances by Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi, who has been to space three times, and Buzz Aldrin, the second astronaut to walk on the moon.
