TV news anchor Angela (played by Jennifer Carpenter) feels a bit nervous during her first appearance, as she is participating in a program that involves spending the night with firefighters at a fire station in Los Angeles. Angela has a warm and cheerful personality, so she gradually integrates into the team, getting to know everyone's personalities and quickly becoming their source of joy. However, when a 911 call comes in, Angela follows the firefighters to the scene of an incident.
