37-year-old Tetsuko Ishida (played by Hitomi Kuroki) is a late-blooming rookie lawyer currently working at the law firm run by Michiya Ogiwara (played by Ikkei Fujita), leading a stable and orderly life. However, one day, a phone call pulls Tetsuko into a complicated mess. The woman on the other end of the line is Natsuko Kogane (played by Honami Suzuki), who is a relative of Tetsuko. She hopes Tetsuko can help her resolve a dispute with her ex-fiancé, but during the investigation, Tetsuko uncovers an unknown side of Natsuko. From then on, Tetsuko receives a series of requests related to Natsuko, who seems to be entangled with many men, leaving everyone wondering what her true feelings are... This film is adapted from a novel by Manabu Katsura.
