The story follows a stray dog named Roger and an abandoned robot named Bob as they lead the discarded pets to defeat Frankstone, the ruler of a future city trying to replace humans with robots, restoring peace to the future city. Throughout this hilariously thrilling journey, the originally selfish, proud, willful, and cowardly pets gradually discover their true selves, becoming brave, united, and helping each other, thus realizing their self-worth.
