Medical school student Mia (Michelle Ang) is planning to write a doctoral thesis on Alzheimer's disease. She eventually finds a woman named Sarah Logan (Anne Ramsay) and hopes to make a documentary featuring Sarah's mother, Deborah (Jill Larson). Deborah is conservative and rigid, currently in the early stages of Alzheimer's.
