Li Tianyi from the Criminal Investigation Brigade of the Jin Hai Public Security Bureau is a well-known detective in the province. One day, Tianyi receives a call from his childhood friend, Chang Gang, inviting him to a class reunion and mentioning that a mysterious figure will be present. Since he's on vacation and hasn't gone to a gathering in a long time, Tianyi happily agrees. Tianyi, along with his girlfriend Man Ling and Chang Gang, drives to the Jin Wan Hotel in the provincial capital.
