In the later stages of World War II, the United States and the Nazis engage in battle in a rural area of France. A young American soldier, Louis, hesitates during a crucial moment, resulting in Captain Beckett being severely wounded. Lieutenant Maxwell hurriedly coordinates preparations for evacuation, but before they can leave, the field hospital is occupied by Nazi forces led by Dietrich. Beckett's condition worsens, and in order to atone for his grave mistake, Louis seizes the last opportunity for escape and rescue, leading the Americans to freedom.
