The Five Poisons Sect is a notorious group in the martial arts world. The old master relies on medicinal baths to sustain his remaining years, with only one disciple, Yang De (played by Jiang Sheng). Feeling that the sect has committed enough evil deeds, the old master orders Yang De to clean up the sect and seek out the treasure of his shifu’s uncle. Yang De’s five senior brothers practice five different martial arts derived from poisonous creatures: Centipede (played by Lu Feng), Snake (played by Wei Bai), Scorpion (played by Sun Jian), Gecko (played by Guo Zhui), and Toad (played by Luo Mang). Yang De disguises himself as a beggar and discreetly investigates a county town, where he accidentally encounters his shifu’s uncle, Master Lao, whose family has been exterminated. The culprits are actually the eldest and second senior brothers. Although the county head, aided by the fifth senior brother who practices Toad Fist, captures the eldest senior brother, the county lord colludes with the second senior brother to imprison and kill the fifth senior brother. The third senior brother frequently meets the second senior brother at night while masked, controlling the situation from the shadows. Yang De discovers that the county head is the fourth senior brother and reveals his identity to him. The two decide to work together to eliminate the eldest and second senior brothers. The third senior brother in the shadows decides to take action…
