20-year-old Marisa (played by Alina Levshin) is a cynical and unconventional German girl who spends her days with a group of neo-Nazi peers, harboring hatred towards all outsiders, foreigners, police, and anyone she dislikes. Her troubled family background makes it hard for her to experience warmth, while the group filled with sex, violence, and alcohol gives her a strong sense of belonging. However, through repeated encounters with a young boy from Afghanistan, Raso (played by Sayed Ahmad), Marisa's heart, filled with anger, quietly begins to change. Meanwhile, 14-year-old Silvie (played by Jella Haase) enters her rebellious phase, trying to transform from a goody-two-shoes into a girl who challenges all taboos. She joins the group that Marisa is part of, experiencing the most significant transformation of her life alongside her cool senior... This film won the Best Director and Best Young Actor awards at the 2011 Bavaria Film Festival (Jella Haase); Best Actress award at the 2012 German Film Festival (Alina Levshin) and Best Screenplay award.
