The series merges the works of the British novelist Lewis Carroll, namely "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking-Glass." At the age of 10, Alice (Caterina Scorsone) found it difficult to maintain and trust in a relationship after her father's sudden departure. When her boyfriend Jack (Philip Winchester) presents her with an heirloom engagement ring that has been passed down for generations, Alice once again escapes. As Jack leaves, he slips the ring into her pocket, and just as Alice is about to return it, she witnesses him being kidnapped by a group of elegantly dressed mysterious robbers. Following them through the portal in the magic mirror, Alice arrives in a peculiar parallel world known as "Wonderland." To find Jack, Alice seeks help from the mad Hatter (Andrew Lee Potts). Besides the Hatter, the Dodo (Tim Curry) and the White Knight (Matt Frewer) are also Alice's capable allies.
