In a bustling corner of Tokyo, there lies a patisserie named Coin de Rue, where the head chef and staff dedicate themselves to creating delicious pastries for the eager diners. One day, the naive and straightforward girl Natsume Usaka (played by Yū Aoi) travels from distant Kagoshima to Tokyo in search of her boyfriend, Chihiro Uejima (played by Hiroyuki Onoue), who aspires to become a famous pastry chef. However, Chihiro is not at the patisserie as mentioned in her letter. Disappointed, Natsume asks to stay and help at the shop, but her poor cake-making skills draw harsh criticism from her colleagues. Still, Natsume remains undeterred and begins her journey of perseverance in Tokyo. During this time, she goes from quarreling with her diverse colleagues to finding mutual understanding, and she meets the legendary pastry chef Ryotaro Tomura (played by Yōsuke Eguchi), and her relentless efforts start to pay off...
