Yoon Min-cheol (Park Hae-il) is a senior television program director who unexpectedly discovers a major medical company involved in a news story while searching for material. He begins to investigate the truth with his female subordinate, Kim Seong (Kim Ji-won). Surprisingly, Dr. Lee Jang-hwan (Lee Jung-eun), a biotechnology authority, is suspected of stem cell fraud. However, they lack accurate evidence. Just then, the righteous whistleblower—researcher Shim Min-ho (Yoo Yeon-seok) from the doctoral team—appears, secretly reporting the fraudster while concealing it from his wife (Ryu Hyun-jung) and family. Shim Min-ho's persistence strengthens Yoon Min-cheol's resolve. Meanwhile, Lee Jang-hwan employs a series of unjust methods to stop their news report, leading to an imminent confrontation between the truth and national interests. The film is adapted from the sensational 2006 stem cell fraud scandal involving Dr. Hwang Woo-suk, the father of cloning in South Korea.
