The independent drama film "Barry," which tells the story of current U.S. President Barack Obama's student days, is confirmed to be in production. The film will be produced by Black Bear Pictures, the production company of "The Imitation Game." According to U.S. media reports, "Barry" will star Devon Terrell and Anya Taylor-Joy, who was awarded at Sundance for her role in the horror film "The Witch." Vikram Gandhi, who directed the documentary films "Kumaré" and "Dirt," will direct the film, with the script written by Adam Mansbach, author of the book "Go the Fuck to Sleep." Black Bear Pictures will collaborate with Cinetic Media on the production. The film is expected to begin shooting this April.
