Sarah (played by Sophie Desmarais) is a girl with a highly developed athletic ability, particularly excelling in long-distance running. One day, the athlete club of the best university in Montreal extended an olive branch to Sarah, inviting her to join. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity made Sarah extremely excited. However, Sarah grew up in a very poor family, and her mother simply couldn't afford the expenses needed for her to study in Montreal. Thus, Sarah thought of applying for a loan from the bank. To secure a larger loan, Sarah approached her friend Anthony (played by Jean-Sébastien Courchesne), and they decided to get married to benefit from policy advantages. With their beautiful dreams for the future, Sarah and Anthony left their hometown, but waiting for them, besides the harsh reality, was their crumbling marriage.
