Eva (Gabrielle Union) lost her parents at a young age. As the eldest daughter, the responsibility of raising her three younger sisters—Kerry Ann (Essence Atkins), Bethany (Robinne Lee), and Jaquie (Meagan Good)—naturally fell on her shoulders. Fortunately, all four sisters grew up well, with Eva's three sisters finding their perfect partners and starting their own families.
