James (played by Clark Gable) is an editor at a newspaper, a man filled with ambition for his career. For James, the way to achieve his ambitions is to return to school for in-depth and systematic study. Therefore, James enrolls in a tutoring class, where he meets the head teacher, Eric (played by Doris Day). As they spend time together, the distance between James and Eric narrows, and James finds himself deeply in love with his teacher. However, to Eric, James is just another student in the classroom. How will James confess his identity to Eric? And once Eric learns the truth about James's identity, how will he interact with him?
