"Welcome to Pia♥Carrot!! -Sayaka's Love Story-" is a theatrical anime based on the 18+ romantic simulation game "Welcome to Pia♥Carrot!!3" by F&C FC02. It was released in four Warner Mycal theaters from October 19, 2002, to November 22 of the same year. This is the first theatrical anime adapted from an 18+ game, predating works like "AIR."
Although it condenses the main events of the original game, a significant difference is that the protagonist is Sayaka Takai, who goes to help at the fourth store. As a result, this anime does not fit into the harem category, unlike many other adaptations of 18+ games.
Despite the novelty of being the "first theatrical anime adaptation of an 18+ game," its low animation quality was noticeable, making it more of a fan event than a substantial work. The DVD released on March 21, 2003, had significant reanimations, but the end roll error where Yui Horie was listed as "Yui Horie" was not corrected.
