The film tells the story of a little girl named FeiFei who aspires to reach the moon. Growing up, FeiFei listened to her mother's tales of the love story between Chang'e and Houyi, and she firmly believes that Chang'e is the embodiment of eternal true love. After her mother passes away a few years later, her father prepares to remarry, which deeply affects FeiFei. To defend her family and to prove to her father that Chang'e is still unwaveringly waiting for Houyi on the moon, symbolizing the existence of eternal true love, FeiFei takes matters into her own hands and builds a "rocket ship," embarking on a wonderful journey to the moon.
