Late at night, Ruoshan goes online to chat with her mother, Jialin. Hearing strange noises from the living room, she goes to investigate but is forcibly dragged into the living room by a pervert. Ruoshan struggles to escape back to her room to seek help from Jialin. Jialin witnesses a scorpion tattoo on the back of the pervert but is unable to help, watching helplessly through the computer screen as Ruoshan is assaulted.
