Late at night, Ruoshan goes online to chat with her mother, Jialin. Hearing strange noises from the living room, she goes to investigate but is forcibly dragged into the living room by a pervert. Ruoshan struggles to escape back to her room to seek help from Jialin. Jialin witnesses a scorpion tattoo on the back of the pervert but is unable to help, watching helplessly through the computer screen as Ruoshan is assaulted. Later, at the police station, Ruoshan accuses Qiao Ziyang of the crime, but the semen test doesn’t match Ziyang, and since he has no tattoos, he clearly denies everything. Outside the police station, Ruoshan encounters Ziyang and they become entangled. Jialin's pleas make Ruoshan question whether her mother believes her, and in a fit of shame and anger, she commits suicide by jumping off a building. Jialin, seeing her daughter lying in a pool of blood, regrets not believing Ruoshan and decides to find a way to expose Ziyang's true nature. One night, the pervert indeed returns but is driven away by Ziyang. Jialin, thinking she misunderstood Ziyang, invites him to dinner as a thank you. Just as she is lost in the romantic atmosphere, she suddenly notices Ziyang's shoes are stained with Ruoshan's glow-in-the-dark nail polish and confronts him. Ziyang reveals his true colors and tries to assault Jialin. In response, Jialin stabs Ziyang with a knife, feeling that Ruoshan's grievances have been avenged. However, Jialin receives a call from the police, and things take an unexpected turn…
