Eun-hee (played by Ha-Neul Kim) is a successful returnee career woman who excels at work but struggles with interpersonal relationships. After being heartbroken by her fiancé's abandonment, a series of setbacks in her career leads her to be reassigned to work as an editor at a women's fashion magazine. Hearing her colleagues gossip about her, Eun-hee quietly suffers alone and decides to get a pet dog to ease her anguish. By chance, she meets the considerate and charming Jin-ho (played by Keun-Suk Jang), a young and handsome ballet genius who is homeless. Due to his friend Eun-soo, he moves into Eun-hee's home and unexpectedly takes on the role of a pet lover. The two start living together in a romantic and happy way as owner and pet. Their cohabitation brings subtle changes to their relationship until Eun-hee's university crush, senior Cha, appears and openly expresses his feelings for her. In the end, who will occupy the home in Eun-hee's heart—the pet or the senior...? The film is adapted from the super popular manga "Pet Lover" by Japanese manga artist Yayoi Ogawa.
