Brandy (Ross Lynch) and Mackenzie (Maia Mitchell) are a very loving young couple who share a common hobby—surfing, which deepens their relationship. Mackenzie lost her parents at a young age and was raised by her aunt. Mackenzie’s mother always hoped her daughter would grow up to be a true lady, so her aunt decides to send Mackenzie to a prestigious boarding school, meaning she and Brandy will be separated. Before leaving, Mackenzie and Brandy agree to have one last surf together, but they encounter a storm that unexpectedly transports them into a musical film set in the 1960s, where they become caught up in the conflict between a surfing gang and a motorcycle gang.
