On the wedding day of Zhao Wuji (played by Ti Long), the son of the top martial arts sect, the Big Wind Hall, a group from the Tang Sect in Sichuan, which specializes in crafting strange hidden weapons, unexpectedly barges in and publicly offers 100,000 taels of gold for the head of Zhao Jian, the leader of the Big Wind Hall. That night, Zhao Jian meets a tragic end, and the second-in-command, Shangguan Ren (played by Gu Feng), flees to the Tang Sect with Zhao Jian's head. Burdened by the grudge of his father's murder, Zhao Wuji goes to Tangjia Fortress seeking revenge and learns that there is an undercover operative from the Big Wind Hall codenamed "Xi Shi" inside. Moreover, a secret from the Big Wind Hall is concealed within the White Jade Tiger that Shangguan Ren took. On his journey, Zhao Wuji is repeatedly ambushed by the Tang Sect’s young master, Tang Yu (played by Er Dongsheng), but is fortunate to receive help from old friends like Dugu Cheng (played by Xu Shaoqiang) and other martial artists. Tang Yu disguises himself as Dugu Cheng's brother to get close to Zhao Wuji, but unexpectedly, Zhao Wuji turns the tables and kills him. Disguised as Tang Yu's friend, Zhao Wuji delivers the corpse to the Tang Sect, gaining the trust of the Tang family's eldest son, Tang Que (played by Luo Lie). However, in this perilous place, how will Zhao Wuji navigate his situation?
