Li Lanxin mysteriously falls from a hotel building and calls private detective Zhang Wenjiang for help before her death. Jiang finds a peculiar invitation in Xin's handbag. Later, Jiang investigates at the bar where Xin worked, and the bar owner, Luo Bi, instantly falls in love with him. The two take the invitation to the Shanyulou nightclub to watch an erotic performance called "Remy Martin." Just as Jiang discovers the bar is controlled by a drug trafficking gang, the gang leader, Lu Na, becomes aware of Jiang's investigation, and those in the know are killed one by one. Na seduces Jiang, intending to kill him, but unexpectedly develops real feelings for him, and thus coerces Jiang to join the gang, threatening the safety of his lover, Ye Qiong Ying. Jiang finds himself in a dire situation, but fortunately, the police arrive, causing chaos among the criminals. Jiang's advisor, Tong Tianxin, is also a member of the gang and shoots at Jiang, but Na sacrifices herself to protect him and is killed in the process. The gang members are eventually all eliminated.
