In Bosnia, 1995, after the civil war signed a peace agreement, a small squad's mission is to clear landmines along the border. In a nearby abandoned factory, they discover a man locked in the basement. No food, no water, no light. He seems to be waiting for them. The soldiers bring him back to their base, but they cannot determine his identity. He refuses food and drink, appearing very submissive. The next day, one of their soldiers goes missing. Upon returning to the factory to search, the soldiers discover many bodies of soldiers and are ambushed by unidentified armed personnel. After paying one of them off, they bring the captive back to the camp. When he sees the man rescued from the cellar, he tells the soldiers that they have released a demon. Thus, more bizarre legends begin to circulate among them, and the squad loses all contact with base headquarters; the cleared landmines surround them again overnight, putting them in danger...
