He (Method Man) is a silent man, always in a hat and trench coat, silently weaving through the streets and alleys of this morally decayed, desolate, and despairing city. Death happens every day, commonplace, as oblivious young people rush by, squandering their lives. By day he is a mortician at the city funeral home, skillfully and solemnly preparing the shattered bodies, guiding the deceased on their final journey; by night, he sits in a small room surrounded by noisy and angry neighbors, meticulously crafting taxidermy for their owners to find their final comfort. One day, a female corpse stirs ripples in his deadened inner world. The body is adorned with Botticelli's famous work "The Birth of Venus," a familiar pattern that rekindles his memories of the past. The city's self-destruction continues, and he cannot remain calm forever…
