The skilled martial artist Kaede (played by Rina Takeda) has been learning sushi-making from her father, a sushi master, since childhood. However, no matter how hard she tries, she cannot earn her father's admiration. Eventually, disheartened, Kaede runs away from home and takes a job at a remote inn in Karinu Onsen. Naturally, she faces bullying from her colleagues there. One day, the CEO of Komatsu Pharmaceuticals (played by Toru Tezuka) brings his employees for a vacation.
