The somewhat well-known thriller novelist Tess Thorne (Maria Bello) is invited to give a talk in an unfamiliar place. Lost and without a signal for her phone, she ends up with a flat tire in an area where no help is nearby. Just when she feels helpless, a muscular truck driver (Will Harris) offers to help her change the tire. However, this brute takes advantage of the situation and brutally assaults Tess, leaving her in a pit soaked with the bodies of three or four women. Surviving against the odds, Tess stumbles back home. She tries to report the incident but ultimately remains silent. In the following days, Tess sorts through the chaos in her mind and decides to take revenge on the beast in her own way... This film is based on a short story by Stephen King.
