Save the Vaquita! The swim bladders of the totoaba fish can be made into precious swim bladders, leading fishermen to illegally catch them with gillnets. The vaquitas living in the same waters are suffering as a result and are on the brink of extinction, with only 15 left. Fighting against overfishing and illegal killing is not easy; the opponents are Mexican drug lords and Chinese smuggling groups who view the swim bladders as the cocaine of the sea. Scientists, journalists, and environmentalists are determined to start a defense campaign. Produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and directed by Richard Ladkani, the film captures thrilling moments reminiscent of "The Cartel" (2015), with undercover investigations, military and police engaging in battles with criminals, and defenders patrolling the seas, all to save the vaquitas from a tragic fate and ensure their survival.
