On February 24, 2010, an unexpected tragedy occurred at SeaWorld in Florida, USA. Senior whale trainer Dawn Brancheau was suddenly dragged into the pool by a male orca named Tilikum. Within just a few minutes, this woman, known for her bright smile and infectious kindness, was killed by her companion orca with whom she had spent years. This case shocked the nation, but from the accounts of those involved, it became clear that it was anything but accidental. A series of chilling evidence revealed the tragic truth about both the perpetrator and the victim. The orca family, once joyfully swimming in the ocean, was captured by profit-driven businessmen and fishermen. The mother-orca's baby was forcibly separated from its family and condemned to live in a cramped pool, repeating monotonous training and performances day after day. In the 1990s, Tilikum had been involved in similar tragedies at marine parks in the Pacific. However, the truth about its "crimes" was deliberately concealed by businessmen. After moving to SeaWorld, it was welcomed by a group of animal-loving trainers led by Dawn, who were also kept in the dark about many incidents. It was destined to happen, but will similar tragedies continue?
