Chinese-American young man Derek Lee (played by Derek Lee) discovers that he is suffering from a serious illness. With a lifelong love for traveling, he decides not to waste any more time. He and his good friend Clif Prowse (played by Clif Prowse), who works as a television producer, quickly come to an agreement to embark on a year-long global journey. During their travels, they plan to document their experiences and share them on a travel video blog with enthusiasts around the world.
