In 1998, a five-member gang called "White Charm," led by Seo Tae (played by Kim Yoon-seok), kidnapped the young son of a powerful figure. After the operation failed, instead of killing the boy, they adopted him as their son and consciously trained him to become a successor as an assassin. Nearly twenty years later, the boy named Hua Yi (played by Ryu Jun-yeol) has grown up to become a handsome high school student. Following the orders of his superiors, Seo Tae commits a series of heinous crimes, intentionally leading Hua Yi into this path. However, since childhood, the boy seems to have the ability to see monsters, causing him to fail at critical moments.
