In 1998, a five-member gang called "White Charm," led by Seo Tae (played by Kim Yoon-seok), kidnapped the young son of a powerful figure. After the operation failed, instead of killing the boy, they adopted him as their son and consciously trained him to become a successor as an assassin. Nearly twenty years later, the boy named Hua Yi (played by Ryu Jun-yeol) has grown up to become a handsome high school student. Following the orders of his superiors, Seo Tae commits a series of heinous crimes, intentionally leading Hua Yi into this path.
