One day, the mermaid Annie (voiced by Li Sixian) encounters Captain's daughter Susan, who is struggling in the water and calling for help. Despite the Sea God's repeated warnings to Annie not to meddle in human affairs, the kind-hearted Annie cannot stand by and ignores the situation, so she goes to rescue her and safely escorts her back to the harbor.
