The film revolves around three boxers from different backgrounds. Sonehara Akira (played by Moriyama Mirai), after experiencing the peak of his professional career, has fallen to the margins as a loser boxer, often treated as a "soft persimmon" to boost others' confidence. He becomes lost and even considers giving up boxing, but after hitting rock bottom, he realizes the importance of returning to the ring in search of meaning in life. Omura Ryuta (played by Kitamura Takumi) is a young boxer carrying a secret. Abandoned by his parents in childhood, he went down a path of rebellion and delinquency, but boxing gives him a chance at life again, entering the sport with unstoppable momentum. Miyuki Shun (played by Katsuragi Ryo) is a second-generation comedy performer. Under his father's scrutiny, he loses his sense of self and struggles to find his place. Participating in a boxing match for a television show, behind his playful facade, he attempts to truly prove himself through boxing and win. The main focus of "The Losers: Survival" is the ultimate showdown between Sonehara Akira and Omura Ryuta. After finishing a match against Miyuki Shun, Sonehara faces the choice of retiring once more, while Omura, determined to showcase his skills on the boxing stage, suffers an injury that threatens his nascent career. With their unique stories in mind, the two begin daily training for their final confrontation. On the ultimate boxing stage, both fighters, exhausted yet unwavering, radiate a brilliant light.
