Jiao Lei (played by Yang Zhiqing) is known in the martial arts world as “Soul-Chasing Flying Dagger,” an exceptional fighter. His archrival Yu Yuan (played by Jing Miao) is a renowned master of the Qian Kun Sword, with even greater martial arts skills. The feud between the two has long been unresolved, and the narrow-minded Jiao Lei even turns his wrath toward Yu Yuan’s innocent family, vowing to exterminate them. At a critical moment of life and death, the dagger master Yang Qing (played by Luo Lie) appears and saves Yu Yuan’s daughter, Yu Ying (played by Zheng Peipei). However, when Yu Ying requests Yang Qing's help to avenge her father, he absurdly asks to spend a night with her. Although Yu Ying despises Yang Qing's flirtatious and rebellious nature, he is her only hope and support, forcing her to swallow her pride. As time passes, Yu Ying gradually discovers Yang Qing's integrity and reliability, as well as his genuine feelings for her.
