Set in the 1980s, during the conservative Reagan administration, America is facing an AIDS crisis. "Angels in America" tells the story of a group of New Yorkers who wander between life and death, love and sex, heaven and hell, struggling to survive and cope in such a societal backdrop. Tony Kushner's "Angels in America" is one of the most significant plays of recent decades.
