This drama is set aboard the automotive carrier "Amphitrite," featuring Sakamoto Marin (Iitoyo Marie), a rookie third officer, and Ishikawa Tsubame (Takeda Rena), a rookie third engineer. They face all sorts of troubles, including conflicts with strict superiors, unreasonable transfers, encounters with bad weather and pirate ships, as they cutely and comically strive to become capable sailors in this "marine job comedy." Regarding the male cast, Hiraoka Yuta has been cast as Kanazaki Takuya, the first officer aboard the Amphitrite, who sternly coaches Marin and her junior officers. Miyazaki Akito plays Kisaragi Hikaru, a shy, dog-like junior engineer who secretly harbors feelings for Marin while looking up to her as "Sakamoto-senpai."
