The film tells the story of two great drunken boxing masters. Su Huazi and Fan Dabe have no means of living, specializing in petty thefts and low-level activities. One day, while stealing grapes, they are caught by the wine factory master Zhang Qi and are fined to work at the factory to pay off their debt.
