The frog mother gives birth to babies that slowly grow tails and become a group of tadpoles. They swim in the pond and encounter two little chicks. Although they don't know each other, they quickly become good friends. The close bond between the chicks and their mother makes the tadpoles envious, so they decide to find their own mother. On their journey, they learn from Grandpa Shrimp what their mother looks like, thinking they would easily find her. However, the search proves to be quite a challenge.
