An original documentary produced by NetFlix about the renowned war photojournalist Chris Hondros. Directed by Hondros's friend Greg Campbell, the documentary recounts Hondros's experiences as a war photographer and showcases numerous valuable photographs he captured. The protagonist, Chris Hondros, was an American war photojournalist and a Getty photographer. Beginning with the Kosovo War in 1999, he reported on several conflicts and wars, including the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Iraq War, and the Afghanistan War, earning multiple international photography awards. In 2006, Hondros received the highest honor in war photography—the Robert Capa Gold Medal; in 2007, he was named a "Photography Hero" by American Photo magazine; in 2008, he was a finalist for the National Magazine Award. On April 21, 2011, Hondros was struck by artillery fire in Libya, suffered serious injuries, and passed away at the age of 41. The day before his death, he was documenting street battles between Libyan opposition forces and government troops in Misurata.
