In 1983, during a particularly hot spring day in the university town, “Jebi” and “Eun-sook” were comrades and secret lovers who led the student movement, and one person who had no choice but to become a “Frakchi” because of his love for Eun-sook. Forty years later, Eun-sook’s son “Ho-yan” learns about the story of the three and unveils their love, revolution, and secrets. Frakchi, derived from Russian, became widely used after the Frakchi incident in the Korean National Assembly in 1949. At that time, it was said that several members of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) participated in “frakchi” activities to represent North Korea's position in the assembly. Around the 1980s, during active democratic protests by university students, the “fake university students” introduced by the state to track student movements were referred to as frakchi.
