The ninja army led by Black Shovel Koji (played by Shōji Kobayashi) fails in their mission, and Yagyu Sayaka (played by Kayo Matsuo) leads her group of female assassins to continue tracking the father and son, Bai Yidao. The secret method of blue jade production stolen by the shogunate from the Awa Domain leads to Bai Yidao (played by Tomisaburo Wakayama) being hired to assassinate the person who stole the method.
