The girl Shiori (played by Anna Ishibashi) is awakened by strange sounds, discovering that the noise comes from four 10-yen coins issued in Showa 63 (1988). She flips through her mother's diary, which records an incident that her mother experienced while being a first-year student at Kitayamada High School in 1988. On July 18th, her mother's classmate died from carbon monoxide poisoning. Shiori suddenly realizes that the day the coins are making noise is the death anniversary of that victim! Kitayamada High School has been abandoned for a long time and is scheduled for demolition soon, so Shiori decides to go there to uncover the truth.
