Adapted from the novel of the same name by Takashi Suzuki. Nanbu Rinroku (played by Hidetsugu Takahashi), a silent boy from Okayama High School, silently harbors a crush on the pure girl Michiko (played by Junko Asano), who lives under the same roof. One day, Rinroku teaches a senior student a lesson for insulting Michiko, and his strength catches the eye of the school's fighting expert, Kame (played by Yusuke Kawazu), who then teaches others the skills of fighting. Through Kame's introduction, Rinroku joins the largest gang at Okayama High School—OSMS, led by Zaian (played by Mitsuo Kataoka). With his exceptional strength, Rinroku quickly becomes the vice leader of the gang. However, unable to confess his feelings to Michiko and with internal conflicts accumulating, Rinroku ultimately leaves Okayama and transfers to Nishitakata High School in Wakamatsu. But his reputation as a delinquent has already spread far and wide, and trouble only continues to pile up around him...
