The faded star Ai Qingqing (played by Miriam Yeung) marries a businessman surnamed Li (played by Tony Leung Ka-fai), who is older than her, for love. As Qingqing grows older, her husband mingles with many young women. In an attempt to salvage her marriage, Qingqing goes through great hardships to find Aunt Mei (played by Bai Ling), who makes dumplings filled with fetal matter, said to restore youth when consumed. Initially, Qingqing is very resistant, but she gradually gets used to it. However, her husband remains indifferent, and she demands Aunt Mei to find an even better premium product.
