One day, his ex-girlfriend (played by Fumino Kimura), with whom he was in a long-term relationship, enters his classroom and asks him to assist her brother, a detective named Anzuko Kento (played by Yosuke Asari), in investigating a recent case. Not long ago, a deaf man named Yagami Keisuke (played by Eiichiro Funakoshi) was arrested by the police on suspicion of arson, but Yagami remains silent during the interrogation, leaving the police at a loss. They can only search his home for evidence of the arson, where they unexpectedly discover a little girl imprisoned in a hidden room. To help the girl overcome her psychological barriers and speak, Seikai tries to communicate with her and open her heart. However, just as the communication is progressing unsteadily, a woman claiming to be the girl's mother, Ayuko Seta (played by Mari Hoshino), appears. What truth lies behind the silences and the hesitant words?
