Brainwashed by passionate manga, 15-year-old middle school student Shinanogawa Hiro (played by Kankki Narumiya) transfers from a private school to the public Komae North Junior High to become a delinquent. His bright red short hair quickly catches the attention of several delinquents, and although he gets beaten up by their leader, Iguchi Daisuke (played by Hiro Mizushima), he becomes friends with Daisuke and his companions, Moriki Takashi (played by Kazuki Bōga), Wang Gong (played by Tōru Wakatsuki), and Lupin (played by Yūji Ayabe), due to his straightforward personality.
