In the year 2805, human civilization has advanced significantly, but due to increased pollution and waste, Earth is no longer suitable for human habitation. Earthlings are forced to leave their home aboard a spaceship, embarking on a long and endless journey through the cosmos. Before leaving, they commission the company Buynlarge to clean up the Earth's garbage, and the company develops a robot named WALL·E (Waste Allocation Load Lifters – Earth) to take on this important task. These robots work diligently day after day, year after year, according to their programming, but as time passes and the harsh environment erodes their functionality, the WALL·Es begin to break down and stop moving. Ultimately, only one remains to carry out this seemingly endless job. After many years, it begins to develop its own consciousness. It enjoys carefully hiding the treasures it collects and watching musicals from hundreds of years ago after work, along with a cockroach friend for company.
