Based on a true story, "The Phoenix on Fire" is a Cold War thriller set in 1970s Soviet Union. The story revolves around Sergey, a struggling conscript, his best friend Luisa, a charming and ambitious base commander's secretary, and a daring young fighter pilot named Roman, exploring their dangerous love triangle.
