Former hairstylist Seimi Yajima (played by Yuki Matsushita), who faced six years in prison for killing her boyfriend, is granted parole due to good behavior in prison. However, just over three hours later, Seimi turns herself in to the police, confessing to the murder of a man. To the police's surprise, their investigation reveals that the victim had been killed a week prior, indicating that Seimi is clearly taking the blame for someone else. Before long, the case is handed over to the Emergency Interrogation Room. During questioning by Yuki Makabe (played by Yuki Amami) and Haruo Koishikawa (played by Fumiyo Kohinata), Seimi remains tight-lipped, insisting that only a live broadcast of the interrogation can reveal the truth. Following this, Makabe and her colleagues launch an investigation into the suspect, during which they discover shocking stories from Seimi's high school friend, popular streamer Sanae Mizuse (played by Yuki Saito).
