Arui, who has an unchangeable gambling nature, is a night security guard at a department store. He occasionally borrows money from his ex-wife and, feeling troubled, can only confide in the mannequins in the shop windows; his brother, who works at a theater, has a crush on a colleague, who is in a passionate relationship with a foreign boyfriend. No matter how hard he studies vocabulary, he cannot attain the love of his dreams. This father and son rely on each other, yet cannot fulfill each other's lives, and their silent companionship is merely a false consolation.
